Our early bird tour takes you around Dubrovnik’s old town without the crowds, early in the morning.
Dubrovnik became very popular over the last few years and it is almost impossible to see the real beauty of our city during the summer months. The reason why you should join us on this tour is to get the real feeling of this city.
Let us use the first light of the sun for a tour in the old town.
We will walk through the maze of narrow streets while the town is still sleeping and you will experience real Dubrovnik without the usual crowds. 8 am is the time when all the restaurants are still closed and you can see how the town is preparing for the day to come.
We start walking over the shiny main street that you can only see empty early in the morning and get the real feel of its beauty. By using hidden corners you will explore history, legends and curiosities. On our walk you will see all main monuments and have an introduction for your stay in Dubrovnik that will help you to plan your days and take the best out of it.

How to recognise Dubrovnik Tours guides?
1. Amerling fountain, Brsalje square
We meet at Amerling fountain, outside of the old town walls, close to Dubravka gift shop and Dubravka restaurant. The guide will have a blue umbrella or a sign “Early Bird” . Once the group is all set, the tour shall commence and the guide will take you on a stroll down the old town streets, which you will mostly have to yourselves – the biggest benefit of the early morning tour. The tour last for 1:30h and it finishes in the old town as well.
2. Old Town
Inside the Old town of Dubrovnik you will explore following locations:
- Old Town – stone, shiny streets
- Stradun – the main street of Dubrovnik
- St. Saviour Church – beautiful 16th century church, one of a few original sights in the old town
- Church of Saint Blaise – Dubrovnik’s patron saint is St Blaise
- Orlando Column – covered for protection, he’s more than 600 years old
- Farmer’s market

3. Final stop of the tour
At the end of the tour, once we’re done exploring all sights of our Dubrovnik Early Bird Walking Tour, we’ll depart at Old town and leave you to explore the city streets.
